The Block Kids Building Program is a national building competition for children. It introduces them to the construction industryin an effort to create an awareness of and to promote an interest in future careers in one of the many facets of the industry.
Our build will consist of 3rd, 4th and 5th grade participants who will be given 40 minutes to create something construction related, without adult help or guidance, using the provided materials. Our event will be held at The Works Museum in Bloomington and each participant, and one guardian will have free entrance to the museum. Additional friends and family are welcome to attend for a fee so bring siblings and neighbors to join in the fun!
Space is limited to 30 participants so register your builder now!
Swag bag and refreshments will be provided for all participants.
Prizes will be awarded for top 3!
Participation in the Block Kids program is sponsored by our local NAWIC chapter and the generous donations from our event sponsors listed below.
